My apartment complex has a bulk account through Xfinity for cable and internet. I called to begin setup of my account the day I moved in and was told to complete the transaction in a store so I could pick up our hardware and self install. We selected our upgrades and completed the transaction in store.
Apparently, neither the rep on the phone nor the rep in the store set up our account correctly - rather than setting it up as a bulk account they set us up with a regular residential account. So in addition to the discounted rate we were paying via the apartment complex we were being charged the full amount as if we were a stand-alone residence.
I called the Bulk Account service number today and was told that yes, it was supposed to be a bulk account and they corrected it going forward. But I was only going to be credited less than 1/8th what we were overcharged! That is unacceptable since the account was set up incorrectly by Comcast in the first place. I don’t mind paying for services rendered but this is absurd.
