For about a week, I have been experiencing some serious lag spikes. So severe that I get disconnected from my game and takes about 10 minutes to get the connection back. Once the connection is back, not even 5 minutes, there goes the lag spikes and disconnection.
I have restarted the gateway, both of my consoles and PC. Called Comcast and the automated message lady (which I hate by the way) restarted my gateway. That didn't work. I haven't be playing my game because of this constant issue. Can't do a wired connection because I'm upstairs and gateway is downstairs. I had a device where I was able to get a "wired" connection through the wall outlets, but my mom moved the gateway.
I know it's not a bandwidth issue. I've had a console, my PC and phone going all at the same time with no problem. I'm really hoping the gateway isn't out of date or anything. Had to get a new one just for the Xbox One and I don't want to have to get a new one and risk raising my mom's bill.
So if someone could really help me, that would be great. Thank you!
