Honestly at a loss about what to even do anymore. Received an email to receive a free Apple Watch SE, as long as I activated it and paid the $10 a month “watch fee”
I checkout, used the promo code and everything went smoothly. In the checkout it said it would apply the $12.49 credit month to month instead of an outright $299.
Got the bill that first month and got charged the $12.49. Talk to someone and they reimbursed me and said it will be fine and that it was just because of the way the cycle went.
And then it happened again the next month. Spent 45 minutes on the phone talking to a rep who was trying to convince me that I made a mistake and that I actually didn’t qualify for the watch. Unfortunately for them I screenshot everything from my initial email, my checkout, to the terms and conditions.
They escalated it to someone who eventually agreed that I was right and that it will be taken care of. When I asked if I could get an email confirming this, they said there was no need and that all the “notes” from the conversation had been saved.
Month 3 - same stuff - different month. Got charged again and this time was told that they weren’t even sure a watch promotion existed and I must have been mistaken.
I could write another 1,000 words about my experience with this but to sum it up we’re on month 5. I get charged every month - make a call - plead my case - am assured it’s taken care of and then it all starts again.
Please god someone help me. I can’t make this call again.
