I have been with Comcast since Dec. 2017, at which point I started a normal internet package receiving 250Mb/s, of course the $20 Blast! Boost is the extra 100Mb/s they offer. I game alot, so I opted for the boost. Little to my knowledge the modem I had received was never capable of giving me speeds faster than 175Mb/s. I always wrote this off as my devices weren't able to handle it.. until I spoke with an awesome rep a few days ago, mentioned how I wouldn't be able to get those speeds unless I got an equipment upgrade. Mind=Blown.
Fast forward to now, and Im starting to realize I have paid for something that I never was receiving, for over a year!! With the promotional discounts and such, Comcast should reimburse me for the value of the Blast service for the duration of this problem totalling $280!
I am currently on the phone with the loyalty department and billing to get this adjusted. But would anyone know of an additional route to take here based off the scenario?
Much appreciated!
