So I live with 3 other people and we are heavy internet users.
Today my Mom called Comcast and the guy informed her we have always had capped data and he has no explanation for why we are almost at our cap for the month. He suggested someone could be on our modem. We know this isn't the case.
When did they randomly make this arbitrary policy? Anything that actually could be using a terabyte a month? My sister streams Youtube and I believe does some type of Voip communication, is that using a lot of bandwidth? I watch netflix and hulu and use reddit mostly so I don't think I am to blame BUT I am the only one i nthe house who doesn't have cable in their room (i hate cable anyway..) so I literally can't watch anything now except on phone data..
