Way to bad to actually have happened...

But it did.

So today I woke up to my internet being out and not being able to call them or anything. Tried a text chat thing they said give me 2-3 minutes to look and never responded, let it be told work my internet was out etc.

About 4pm I am furious it is still out so I finally get it to register a callback and get someone on the phone only to be told I am sorry we can't help you until the 11th from 3-5. So whatever I take it and my neighbor tells me he thinks he knows what happened. mind you we are both in IT and I have worked from a cable company before. So we drive around the block to a vacant lot where a tap is, and it is not the tap I am on. We go in my back yard and look over the fence and see a new line ran from a house over through the yard so we look in the next yard and there I saw it. They came out and setup a new service, to do so they unplugged my line from the tap, put the new one in and just left mine laying on the ground. So what do we do, go knock, get the homeowners permission and go to the tap in her yard. We unplugged the new service and plugged it into the one spot on the tap which mind you had a filter on it, and plugged mine back in. FUCK comcast, pure fucking laziness. Supposedly this has happened a few times to my neighbor and even after it has been reported multiple times it still continues to happen periodically.
