2 day outage so far in the Bay Area after a storm. My neighborhood getting neglected?

I live just south of San Francisco and we have xfinity. Most of us in my house work from home so we’re having to fight for spots at Starbucks or other coffee shops for Wi-Fi. It’s annoying and pointless. I know xfinity doesn’t care because of the monopoly they have on our area. Also it seems like they are making more progress on other neighborhoods in our area other than ours. They don’t care and we have no choice but to wait for them to maybe consider lifting a finger. I’m thinking of going to the local news to light a fire under their lazy ass. What does everyone think?
