Hello! I am a local guitar teacher and I am looking to start a program in Columbus to help teach guitar and bass to kids in low income areas. I have a few questions and wanted to ask other locals.

Post Body

As the title says, I am a guitar teacher who has been freelance teaching in Columbus for a few years now. I've been floating around on making the program for a few months, offering a free weekly lesson to kids one hour a week but need help finding a good central location that is safe and in an open area. In the summer and fall, a good park would probably work best if anybody has any suggestions on a good place lessons could be held in the late fall/winter I'd love to hear it. I'm also trying to see if an organization already exists in Columbus or outside of Columbus we could possibly model. It's in very early planning and I'd love any help we could get. I'm planning a local music festival to help get funding in order to get instruments for the kids as well if anybody would like to be involved.
