I'm going to be real with you: I am super fat and super out of shape and I need some walking buddies. I would love to start a group! Of course, I would prefer a group of larger, obese people so we can all feel comfortable but I'm not going to shun anyone. If you want to walk at a snail's pace and probably stop at every bench we see for the first couple weeks, then who am I to say you can't? ;)

I do not have a car. Schiller is the closest park to me, so it makes the most sense, initially. We can figure out getting to other parks later, if necessary.

You can also bring whoever you want. The more, the merrier! I don't care if it is your mom, dad, partner, coworker, kids, brother, sister, friend, whatever. You can also come alone. You are, however, required to bring your dog if you have one or more. Schiller is extremely dog friendly and so am I :D

I would like to try and set something up for two or three times a week, most likely in the mornings because I work nights and that is when I am the most "active". Preferably, a Mon, Wed and Fri or Tues/Thurs kind of deal. I don't mind weekends, but I'm sure that is when the park is most crowded and while I don't want to be a stereotypical, self conscious, fat person, I also don't like to be seen, which is why I stay inside all the damn time and don't get any damn exercise.

Anyway, I really hope this strikes someone's fancy and gives them the push they need to get off the couch or out from behind their computer screen (also a gamer, so I know the struggle). Talk to you soon!! :D

EDIT: 4/3/19 - To everyone who has not heard back from me, I am so sorry! I got a lot more responses than I was anticipating and my anxiety got the best of me and I couldn't handle all of them. I still want to get the group together, just give me a bit to go through the messages again so I can try to find a time that works for most people!! <3
