Hi everyone,
I just accepted a job offer in Grove City and my husband and I are preparing for our big move from Minnesota. I have two senior kitties and one has several chronic conditions (PKD, asthma, stomatitis) and severe anxiety so I’m looking for a veterinary clinic that either specializes with cats or has a “cat-friendly” atmosphere. If anyone knows a vet who specializes with polycystic kidney disease I’d really like insight on that too. I found a few clinics online that seem nice but I would really appreciate any advice from other cat owners.
As for housing, my husband and I are planning on renting a house or townhome for our first year or two until we have a better idea of where to buy a house. I’m fine driving up to 30-40 minutes to work if needed. The biggest factors for us are safety and quietness. We don’t feel the need to live close to downtown or near a lot of restaurants or stores or anywhere new, fancy or upscale. We’ll only be in town for a day and a half to scout out places the weekend after next so we need help narrowing down where to look. We’d prefer to stay below $2400 a month. I’ve gathered that Dublin is considered nice but I don’t want to limit our search if there are nice places elsewhere- are there any areas in the southern suburbs that anyone would recommend looking into? Or any areas to avoid?
I was only in Columbus for a day for my interview last week and everyone was so friendly and I had a great time. I stayed at a hotel near the North Market and loved Hoyo’s Kitchen!
