Hi All,

I have really been trying to get my finances in order and I have a much better handle on it now than I ever had by making a budget and trying to stick to it. Still in the early stages and I am doing the best I can, but my dad suggested that I see a financial advisor. Anything financial really stresses me out and I would like to begin investing and open up some other sort of retirement account, but I have no idea what I’m doing, so I think he’s right.

Can anyone recommend someone local that they trust who deals with finances? My dad had recommended someone who he used when he lived in ohio, but that person has since retired. I don’t know what to look for in a financial advisor, either.
