I usually wfh but lately I’ve been traveling a lot, having to leave the dog at home, and I want to do something special for him. He’s not really food motivated, but loves going to the dog park and other active activities. We usually go to godown dog park or the dog beach/park at alum creek, which are both kind of hit-or-miss for various reasons. Aside from those places, any suggestions on giving my dog a fun filled day? I feel like we are both kind of bored of the same old routine and I’m looking for suggestions where people take their dogs (can be within an hour or so outside of Columbus).

I have also been meaning to post this as well- my dog (Bernedoodle? See pics) is from ASPCA and was part of a hoarding situation in North Carolina. He has a bunch of brothers and sisters who all had “candy names” when they were brought to Columbus (they were found around Valentine’s Day, I guess, so ASPCA named them after candy based on how they looked??). Upon adoption, my dogs name was “fun-dip” and I almost adopted his brother, “York” who is the spitting image of him, but a lot taller, and his sister, “Spree” who was gray and had a Mohawk at the time. I’m wondering if this sounds familiar to anyone who may have adopted his brothers and sisters? York was adopted around the linden area (Morse rd). I would love to get them together so they could visit with each other, but also understand that this is Reddit and anonymity is important (completely understandable) but it’s worth a shot!
