Hi everyone,I'm facing a difficult period and really need some guidance. Years ago, I managed to overcome an IV meth addiction, but I'm now struggling with a new challenge. Last month, my wife and I encountered immense stress after her mother's sudden death and our move into a new house. This led us to start using cocaine, which we initially thought would be a one-time thing. However, it has turned into daily use for over a month.
Our pattern is complicated: we often talk about quitting only after we've started using for the day. It seems when I'm ready to stop, she isnโt, and vice versa. We need a breakthrough in this cycle.Iโm looking for support in Columbus, specifically from another man who might understand my situation.
I think attending early morning meetings could be key, but I feel apprehensive about going alone. If someone could accompany me to my first few meetings, it would be immensely helpful. This would also prevent any undue stress on my wife or any misunderstandings about my intentions.
I have a family depending on me, and Iโm struggling with the basics right now. Any advice, suggestions, or connections to early morning support meetings would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your understanding and any assistance you can offer.
