Hello! I sing in a local band in Columbus and we're planning on putting on a benefit show sometime in spring of next year, hopefully at Newport Music Hall. After talking to Brian Shaffer's surviving family, I have permission to dedicate and use his name in his honor (hopefully to also rejuvenate interest in his case). I want the proceeds to go to a local foundation that either helps families of missing persons or helps the fight in solving missing person's cases in some capacity. Helping people on a local level would be ideal, but if there's a a national charity that's also reputable that would be great as well. Let me know if you have any leads, thank you!
