My dog passed away last year :( we were together for 10 years. I’m finally ready to get a new dog, but I don’t know where to start. Tucker was just part of the family and he came to me when a family member passed. He was a mixed pup and I’ve never had a pure-bred dog. My dad has a Shar Pei who I just visited and I realized that it’s time to get a new dog. Enough time has passed and I’m ready again. Does anyone know where I can start the process of getting a Shar Pei? I’m fine with a 2 or 3 year old if not a puppy. Like I said, I’ve just never had to look for a dog and I have no idea where to start. I don’t want to support a puppy mill that I’ve heard so much about. My dad linked up with his Shar Pei in the same way that Tucker came to me, so he had little advice. I’ve looked online, but I have had little luck.
