There was never a case of Columbo Vs. Joe Blow. There were only rich people who were investigated by him. Always digging around fancy foods, houses, cars, yatchs… Could have ever been a case when the cashier at the 7-eleven murders his wife? Would Columbo talk endlessly about the Slurpee machine and turn red at the sight of the magazines behind the counter? Would he help himself to some taquitos?
There was always something so subservient on his demeanor when dealing with rich murderers. How would he have approached his financial equal?
