Just a rant about the dating scene
Post Body

Jeez I have really disliked trying to meet people lately. I'm not exactly a super out going person and am generally really anxious talking with new people (sorta just to be expected). But lately I've been trying to attend events and classes and talk with people and there's just nothing, the events around Columbia are more geared towards generally business networking, or kids events for reading or something of the like. Even with classes that I attend there's nothing but older people that just had free time or something like that. In combination with working almost all the time and most hobbies I have having a predominantly male following, I just can't seem to meet new people let alone anyone open for dating. I'm at such a loss on what to do to improve. I'm aware this has become a common post on this sub lately, just really wanted to vent some frustration.

Try the Devine Street Rosewood area. Pretty sure Night Caps is like… the wild night bar. Or Bar None. Yep! Soda City should host a speed dating event.

Maybe you can find a trivia group? The Hoot is really fun and young. Maybe there’s a local comic con, or cosplay convention. Plenty of women are gamers. There’s also that arcade bar on Main Street. Oh and the hanger is good. Nice bar, lots of pups. Or Jake’s. Maybe there’s a nice single lady you could strike up a conversation with that has a pup. Ask her to the dog park sometime and maybe to another dog bar. You gotta play the hand your dealt and Columbia… is what you’re working with. Good luck! Oh! Punk Rock Flea market is also very cool and social, should be coming up.
