I didn’t know about the HBO special until two weeks ago and binge watched it. I know I probably shouldn’t have even watched the last episode, but I did tonight (because I needed closure, I guess.)
I surely don’t want to see Wentz temper tantrum off the field (without shaking hands like Belichek), but on the show the way that Wentz reacts (like it’s just another game), made me sick. It’s not what the rest of the team, the fans, and the entire NFL needed to see. Where is his emotion? At least fake like you’re pissed and crushed like many of us are. I could see the disappointment and discouragement in every player’s eyes coming into the locker room except for Carson.
I was really starting to believe that we were making it to the Super Bowl.
My vote is new QB. He has the curse of the Colts QB “happy feet” in the pocket.
There. I said it.
