I never know what’s going to happen with new conversations, sometimes they are pretty straightforward and other times completely off the rails. What kind of mood are you in today? Do you want to go through 1000 questions and get to know everything about each other in a speed run? What do you think about inserting in a famous song/tv/movie/book title into each message? That’s one Wicked good idea, a very Popular way to keep things interesting. Maybe we can take a look at works of art or a Rorschach test and say what we see to break the ice? What if we intentionally include typos and grammatical mistakes and see how long before one of us gotten annoyed? Or maybe nothing too gimmicky and you just want to interact with another human being for a minute before going off to do something else, I’m here for that.

One disclaimer: I am in a relationship with a long time partner. I’m open to anything from platonic friendships to a possible eventual relationship, my partner and I are considering if ENM (open relationships) is for us. Finding some like minded people to get to know and spend time with is my primary goal and I'm not worried about labeling/categorizing things.

• CO is the 9th different state I've lived.
• I consider myself mostly an indoor cat since I WFH and most of my free time is spent doing things in my apartment.
• I cook/bake a lot, I’m in the kitchen regularly and am always thinking about what to make next. This past weekend I made my first attempt at croissants. They were not bakery level yet but better than grocery store.
• I do like to occasional hike/bike/kayak or getting the chance to explore somewhere new. I am a hobbyist photographer, primarily landscapes so I like to find interesting places to see and capture.
• I also have lots of houseplants and garden in the spring/summer. Definitely not an expert but I’m happy I’ve managed to keep all my plants relatively happy over the years.
• I’m in my head a lot and sometimes I like to have other people to bounce my thoughts with instead of the same few people in my life who have heard me say the same things over and over.
• I read a lot, mostly news and nonfiction, I feel like I have a shallow understanding of a lot of different things but am always happy to learn more if you have a passion or expertise you want to share.

In the last year I’ve been making a big effort to get to know people and to hear about how others live/experience the world. I feel like my life perspective is narrow so I like to try and talk with people to get a different view of things. Sometimes I meet people with a lot in common while other times it can be like talking to someone who is on a different plane of existence. A majority of the conversations I have die out quickly but I kind of feel that’s the nature of things online. Very occasionally conversations keep going and it’s always fun to get in to those more in depth thoughts and get to know someone.
