Post Body

Hi y’all! I’m from Texas - Sorry to be one of those people that wants to move to your beautiful state but I can’t stand it here anymore. The “keep austin weird” isn’t real anymore, everything here feels fake and forced, I’m scared for my own rights as a woman, and all of the major tech companies are starting to move here so it’s expensive and the people are awful. I just need to be around nice people that care and where the air is clean.

Eventually my dream is to open a Cannabis dispensary that doubles as a lounge (complete with video games where you can smoke and chill)/oddity/curios shop. Is this something anyone would be interested in?

What are the best areas to live in? Anything locals know that they’d be willing to share that outsiders wouldn’t be aware of? Is my dream stupid? I just want to get an idea from the people who are there every day. Thanks in advance!

ETA: I work for a major social media company and have a steady job working from home. I’m set on money and my husband would look for a job there but basically has some things lined up potentially. I’m just trying to get a general idea or feel
