Hey Reddit

Family is new to the springs. We just bought a house amd it has an old federal Pacific electric panel. We of course knew that before we bought.

I know it's a hazard that needs to be replaced. I also know that there are new point of sale rebates from the government to upgrade panels (part of the inflation reduction act I believe). I know the rebates are between 2 and 4 thousand depending on income compared to the area median.

My questions are:

1) I haven't found the table for the 2024 area median income, found plenty of older ones. Has that come out yet

2) how much on top of the rebate, approximately, should we plan to use to replace said panel

3) good electricians in the area that people can suggest

Thanks reddit
