I thought I'd ask this locally than be drowned out in the larger sanders national sub... but anyone else seeing a massive flux of Paul-ites?
Don't get me wrong, if they genuinely support him then great. BUT...
Sanders isn't Paul. Either of them. While they may have some things similar, Sanders and Paul from what I have seen are a lot more like oil and water. The Pauls are very anti government, and constantly campaign on shutting down the Federal Reserve, the IRS, insert "government" here... Sanders is not. In fact, anything Sanders does would likely bolster some of those institutions. End the IRS? No, how about simplify the tax code and ensure it's progressive. Sanders isn't a "Free Market" utopia guy, and much more into regulation where it's needed to ensure fairness... not believing things will just work themselves out.
So, what's the deal? Where is this sudden willingness to support a guy that really isn't pushing the same things as Paul.
