I'm new but need help.

I've recently started having alot of trouble discerning the difference between red and orange. I dont know why as far as sharpness etc of my vision I'm fine with just having some astigmatism.
It's just weird I've never really had color issues. Like deep red and standard sunset orange I can discern but if the two are in anyway close to each other in hue the completely blend.
Any suggestions or info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time r/colorblind
