How to fix?

My only issue I’ve been having since I’ve gotten the game has been not having control of my players at times. Examples are on offense my runner start automatically trucking slowing me down a getting tackled or my receivers automatically hot routes up the field. On defense when I read the play my player is stuck and seems to hit an invisible wall or I get switched to a safety or corner when I’m blitzing my lb.
