Hello everyone,
I'm applying to a fellowship at a university and I'm baffled by the second half of this short essay question:
> What do you believe is a pressing need in [fellowship major] and why? What are the biggest challenges a potential solution would have to address?
The first question is straightforward, "what is a pressing need in "x" and why is it a problem?" However, no matter how I've looked at the question, I don't understand what the second question is trying to ask. Is it trying to ask what the solution is trying to solve? Is it trying to ask what challenges will come to creating the solution? I don't understand...
This has wrecked my brain for days...am I missing something?
Any help to this would be most appreciated, thank you!
