Will the Coaches Poll and AP poll release to a final poll to crown a champion?

I'm surprised I'm not seeing this discussed anywhere. I know there's no tournament, but shouldn't they release a final poll and crown a champion. Most likely this would be Kansas. I have no do g in this fight but it seems like the obvious thing to do. College football crowned a champion that way for decades.
