I went to college in 2015 at one university for 3 years and had a 3.0 gpa, it was a private college and was getting expensive so I transferred to a New York State school as I qualified for the state to pay my tuition. However at the same time I transferred I had a lot of family and financial things happen and my mental health absolutely tanked and I simply could not get myself out of bed to attend classes and left that second college with a 0.0 gpa. I headed back home and worked hard to save up money and get therapy and once I felt better I went to my local community college to take microbiology and genetics (two courses I got an F in at the previous school) and got an A in both courses. I took the two courses to ease myself back into school and remind myself I can do it but I’m worried now I’ll never get in to any school because apparently I would have to give any school I apply a transcript from every where ive been. Did I ruin my chance at a degree for those two semesters I got a 0.0? If anyone has gone through something similar and can give any advice at all on how I can go back to school I would greatly appreciate it.
