In reflecting on her behavior over the last year, what continues to boggle my mind is the complete distance from who she was in the ukulele video. She has regressed further into portraying/performing innocence. I see it in the clothes she wears, acting prudish on the podcast, in her hobbies. It is such a change from different moments in her life where her branding is completely different and the absence of all the other phases that are no longer. She does all of this publicly, and she talks to her audience the same. As if there “besties.”

I think she truly has no idea who her audience actually is and projects her ultimate ideals. The cool and quirky popular girl, and she’s the queen bee.

I’d like to think I wouldn’t be so critical if she had taken accountability, but I’m not sure anymore.
