by preparing i dont mean buying guns and cans.

I want to prepare for a better future - build communities. learn skills. help people to learn new skills - etc etc etc...

but almost everyone i meet is thinking that "Protest" is the only solution... sure it is a good thing to go to the streets and protest... but i dont think it is as useful as many people think. the majority of people isnt listening - and they wont listen. it is impossible to bring the "masses" to the streets and force the politicans to do things (maybe i am to pessimistic?)

it seems like people protest..and read...and maybe they recycle or they dont fly... and all that is good and right... but i feel like nobody is changing.

am i wrong or a pessimist?
