The title may be confusing so let me clarify and provide some examples.

There are many incidences of Chris and the boys changing things (subtly or otherwise) or adding specific flourishes to their live performances.

Some that come to mind:

• Fix You - midnight intro
• Viva - MOTS-era changing lyric to "shattered windows and the sound of /bass and/ drums"
• Fix You - changing lyric permanently for live performances from "let it go" to "let it show"
• Magic - changing lyric to "call it magic, here with all of you"
• GPASUYF - "girls and boys" rave-type lyrics
• Everglow - removing the first verse
• Yellow, Viva - MX Tour piano intros
• The Scientist - X&Y tour vocal flourish during "oh and I rush to the sta-ah-ah-arttt" (and various versions of the ending "ah-oooooo-ooooo-oooo-ooo-ooooo-oooo la-la-la-la from 2003 to 2021)
• Fix You - adding "oohh-ohhh-ohhh-ohhh-ohhh" between the final two outro verses
• Higher Power and Everyday Life - new Jonny electric guitar parts live
• ETIAW and Viva - intro chants/choruses
• Us Against the World - new silver bird verse (that should be officially released soon 👀)
• Up&Up - believe in love outro
• AHFOD - Charlie Chaplain intro
