A Coldplay mega fan's POV of whatever is happening and my personal favourites for you new fans just discovering Coldplay! MY UNIVERSE - Coldplay X BTS. Its overwhelming and I need to hug somebody.
Post Body

Until a week ago, I had zero exposure to BTS and hence went on r/bangtan to see what the ARMY is up to and understand their POV. Here's my post with some 180 comments with a lot of exchange of good songs, the fundamental ethos of both the artists and of course a lot of personal thoughts. Absolutely worth checking out.

While the ARMY dropped a ton of song suggestions, this kind person u/Kronks_Spinach_Puffs made this curated playlist with an epic mix of songs from both artists.
Here's one of my comments with my Coldplay favourites (along with lil context for new fans to really get the feels)

Okay I have something for you! And I hope a lot more people who are trying to understand Coldplay as a band benefit from this. I hope to see you on the other side!

Linking spotify playlists, enjoy!

Workout
Love (Love love love love love love love)
Mood Booster / Up-beat
Midnight
Remixes (cuz you asked for them)
Chris's playlist with his fav songs (I just realised BTS' Butter is on this list xD)

But fuck that, that's a lazy job - I just linked spoitfy playlists haha. But here you go, took me a while but I wrote down my personal favourites at the moment. Will you (or anybody) introduce BTS to me now? ;)

----------------------------------------------------------

Upbeat/fast songs: I'm gonna link live performances cuz you really get to feel the energy xD..
Violet Hill - Viva la Vida (probably not as fast, but I'd definitely run/train to this. Band's first and probably only shot at a political/protest song)
God put a smile on your face - AROBTH ( This is about appreciating one's life and that nobody knows what happens after death. Check out the part between 0:55 and 1:45 and everything there onwards, I think this would be my best recommendation for what you asked for. Also I've never seen Chris play the electric guitar. Absolute rock feels on this one)
Charlie Brown - Mylo Xyloto (ofc charlie brown, the first 30 secs of this video ooff. If you do get to watch Coldplay live ever, please pray that this song's on the setlist. Jump jump jumpppp)
Every teardrop is a waterfall - Mylo Xyloto (When you get to 2:30, I have a secret message for you and whoever is reading this ;)
Twisted Logic - X&Y (again, you can't dance to this. But definitely do this at a skatepark I suppose. Slow-burning but an epic rock-out. The video I linked is where Chris surprises the crowd and joins an 8th Graders band in what seems like an intimate show. Sings Fix You and twisted Logic starts around 7:00 or lil later)
Politik - AROBTH (Bangs from the get go but if you get to 2:50, that's my fav part, Chris just killing it on the piano and then Johnny joins him on the guitar and the vocalssss oooofff)
Clocks - AROBTH (it seems the song's about the paradox of obsession with time and punctuality versus living and seizing the moment)

----------------------------------------------------------

Lowkey/calmer songs: I'm not gonna link live videos cuz why ruin slow and nice songs with crowd noises :P LInking lyric videos instead.
Gravity - X&Y (a song about a relationship, using gravity as a metaphor for love)
What if - X&Y (a song about risk and fear of a lover's rejection Hopelessness. But the underlying message being risking and falling in love again despite your fears)
Up in flames - Mylo Xyloto (about letting go?)
Trouble - Parachutes (It was originally called Spiderwebs, This song's about behaving badly and hurting the ones you love, Chris writes this after a few issues within the band and from real experience xD they had to reshoot the MV cuz they thought the UK version is too dark for the American audience)
High Speed - Parachutes (A song about an unsustainable relationship)
Daddy - Everyday LIfe (absolutely recommend this one from their latest LP, Everyday Life. This is. a slow ballad, about a neglectful father-son relationship. Chris said this is partly about how he feels as a dad and stays away from kids while touring)
