Do you prefer to keep it exactly as the band presented it, or do you change the order of tracks, add b-sides to the album, or anything else? Please share your tracklist so others can test them out!
I personally loving changing it up actually. I tend to keep the originals backed away somewhere, but I usually stick with the one I make.
My favorite thing to do is to add b-sides and EP's into its respective era's album. I've done this with all of the albums, but my favorite are the "new" Viva and Ghost Stories albums; they really present a different feeling from the original in a fantastic way.
What I did for Viva, which I affectionately called Viva la Prospekt's March (I also kept the original in my library so I could keep Lost, Lovers in Japan, and Technicolor):
- Life in Technicolor II (edited for Cemeteries transition)
- Cemeteries of London
- Lost?
- Postcards from Far Away
- Glass of Water
- Now My Feet Won't Touch the Ground
- 42
- Lovers in Japan (Acoustic)
- Reign of Love
- Christmas Lights
- Yes
- Chinese Sleep Chant
- Viva la Vida
- Violet Hill
- Gold Rush
- Rainy Day
- Strawberry Swing
- Death and All His Friends
- Propsekt's March
- The Escapist
- Death Will Never Conquer
For Ghost Stories, I included the bonus tracks from Target and also Atlas, which really fits quite well. I still haven't found a good place for O reprise, even though I don't like it too much. I really didn't like the True Love to Midnight transition, and I think Atlas fits absolutely perfectly right there.
- Always in My Head
- Magic
- Ink
- True Love (edited to have no Midnight ending)
- Atlas (edited to have a Midnight transition ending)
- Midnight
- Another's Arms
- All Your Friends
- Oceans
- A Sky Full of Stars
- Ghost Stories
- Fly On
- O
