The arrival of the French Foreign Legion within Lebanon, along with negotiations with Lebanon and France herself, has lead to the State of Palestine declaring the operation to neutralize both the Arab Liberation Army in the north of Palestine as well as the Lebanese in the war a success. The Palestinian Defense Force has began to retreat back into Palestine's borders, protecting their return and securing key positions along the border as they retreat. As they do so, they seek to officially declare a peace with Lebanon along the UN-mandated Palestinian-Lebanese border.
