Ah, Poland! the land of thousands of churches, flat picturesque farmlands with a vibrant culture and distinct national character. Poland has suffered much throughout history, being one of the first victims of the Nazi onslaught during the Second World War but known for it's sheer tenacity during these trying times. No one doubts the Polish will for independence. Nevertheless, as the Iron Curtain fell, Poland found itself in a new web of geopolitical alliances aligning itself with the Soviet Bloc under the new "Warsaw Pact" albeit against it's will Poland found itself in a unique position within the Eastern Bloc as the new People's Democracy in Poland take shape. Intended to be a broad anti-fascist and anti-imperialist front, Poland grew to be more autonomous from Moscow with a government seen as more legitimate in the eyes of the peasantry, industrial proletariat, intelligentsia, and even elements of the ruling class. With this stability at home as reconstruction efforts and the economy grow steadfast, Poland can now look outwards into the world to assist the World Revolution in any way it can.

Plans for Poland:

-The 1950s shall be a make-or-break time for socialist economies with the return of millions of soldiers and mobilized personnel back into the workforce. With such available personnel, expansion of industries, employment, and other areas are encouraged while maintaining a stable unemployment rate similar to other developed capitalist nations, The goal would be to make the economy more flexible and develop a mixed economy beyond agrarianism or full industrialization as well as keep the workforce moving. Conservative with the budget wherever necessary and ambitious when necessary as well. A goal would be the encouragement of experimenting with worker co-ops and other more decentralized industries.

-Build up the Polish Shipbuilding sector into a leading economic sector for the country, Polish ships shall dominate the Baltic and ensure to help other socialist nations to contest their territorial waters effectively.

-Mend the rift between Poland A and Poland B by industrializing the southeast, centered around Lwow and Krakow. Mechanize agriculture so as to minimize the number of people needed in the fields and encourage emigration to the cities.

-The Polish Military will become centered around rapid response units, air assault units, and large armored formations. Greater emphasis would be on the modernization of logistical teams.

-Become a leading co-member of the Warsaw Pact and develop Poland's reputation, not as a veritable puppet, but as an equal to the Soviet Union, united in its quest towards the liberation of the proletariat.

-Participate in proxy conflicts and leave our part in the world revolution through the "Polish International Brigades" tasked to respond anywhere and everywhere where our friends and comrades in arms may need us.

-Develop an ambitious armored warfare R&D scene similar in capacity if not more ambitious than the USSR.
