In a slogan spread throughout the State of Palestine, the Palestinian Defense Force was maintained by a large force of conscripts both men and women. The war had most recently lead to the mass assault on the western portion of Jerusalem and the West Bank as a whole before a ceasefire was called an armistice signed between Palestine and Jordan. This time of peace allowed for a momentary breath throughout the State of Palestine, and this would be used by the leadership of the Palestinian Defense Force to move troops around and mostly out of the West Bank into the other frontiers of Palestine.

While a sizable force of 10,000 would remain in the West Bank and Jerusalem to maintain the armistice lines with Jordan and more generally maintain order in the region, approximately 60,000, or half of the Palestinian Defense Force, would be moved into positions in Gedera, Tel Aviv, Bet Semesh, and other notable settlements (mostly Jewish) near the Egyptian-Palestinian ceasefire line. Another 50,000 would be sent into the Galilee region of the State of Palestine, primarily in major settlements such as Safed, Acre, and Tiberias. These would be for stationing near the Syrian and ALA ceasefire lines, especially in the likelihood the ALA attempts to undermine the ceasefire agreement.
