Post Body

France would like to request from the USSR an opportunity, along with a Russian engine supplier, to develop a set of engines to power VTOL aircraft. The engine specifications would be as such

Main engine: 20,000 LBF of thrust with afterburner, to be used while in flight VTOL engines: 8X 4,500 LBF, to be used to take off and land

The engines will then be tested and integrated onto an aircraft that can be used by both nations to further develop VTOL fighters for use in combat, France is also willing to share developmental costs of the fighter and the engines themselves.
