It has been abundantly clear that due to the increasingly diverse and interconnected nature of Pan-German Breweries' various business endeavors, Munich cannot adequately serve both the headquarters and production needs of the company. In addition, all the factories and half the houses seem to be blown up anyways in Germany, so if there ever a good time to relocate them to a more efficient place, it would be right now. Indeed, Germany has a largely successful history of company towns, most notably the Volkswagen town.

In addition, there is also the significance of a new planned city that could potentially signal Pan-German unity, as opposed to the relative mess Berlin is in. Here is the planned map of where the city is (red is initial city limits while green is future expansions given worse terrain), right on the intersection of the Soviet, American, and British occupation zones are and almost in the center of mass of the new German state given land transfers to Poland. The construction of a couple apartments and factories is only set to take a couple of years given their relative simplicity and precedent from the Volkswagen city as well as the absorption of neighboring towns in the city limits. However, it would take much longer, to the tune of 10 years overall, to create a larger city worthy of being some sort of capital if need be. The rough timeline estimated is as follows:
