As dictated per the 1949 Constitution, general elections have been organized. The participant parties, politics, and debate of the election have been previously outlined and now is the time to tally the results! The election has proven to be orderly, energetic, and good-spirited:with a turnout of 88% (one of the highest in Argentine history). The outcome is as such:

President Peron has elected to celebrate his re-election by hosting a parade in Buenos Aires, where thousands of Argentinians will be able to see their President travel along Buenos Aires's main roads accompanied by Vice-President. Notable will be the absence of First Lady Eva Peron, who has had to opt out of participating due to health concerns.
