All over the Soviet Union, some of Comrade Stalin's most trusted and most dependable people were brought from whatever posts they had to Moscow.

It was here, from then on, they would partially lose actual governmental duties as most of their time would be spent with Comrade Stalin himself, either at his personal dacha watching and drinking cowboy movies throughout hours of the night (aimed at exposing embarrassing things about themselves) to hunting with Stalin.

Just anything to keep Stalin surrounded by people.

Some of these individuals includes Nikita Khrushchev, Lavrentiy Beria, Georgy Malenkov, Vyacheslav Molotov, Anastas Mikoyan, Nikolai Bulganin, Nikolay Shvernik, Lazar Kaganovich, and Kliment Voroshilov.

Some of these men do retain actual power but most, Stalin simply tests for loyalty. Following the Leningrad Affair, he needs people in his corner that can assure his paranoia on being correct or not.
