Recently, a letter has been sent from Diet Member Sanzo Nosaka, head of the Japanese Communist Party and protege of Mao Zedong, to be delivered to the COMINFORM headquarters. The letter of course shall be sent through various back channels to avoid interception by either the Japanese government, or the US Military Administration in Japan, and in case of discovery, shall be encoded to avoid an easy extraction of information.
Upon being decoded, the letter shall be an update of the situation in Japan for the JCP, including their attainment of 10% of the popular vote in the previous 1949 elections, and their upcoming plans for the 1952 elections. However, the letter also includes a more personal message from Nosaka to the COMINFORM, detailing how, despite the view and orders from COMINFORM to take violent actions against the bourgeois in order to incite a revolution of the proletariat, he believed that Japan was capable of what he called a "Peaceful Revolution" through the democratic success of the JCP and future implementation of socialist legislature in order to bring about a Socialist State. Nosaka of course, reiterates that he will continue to fulfill the goals and methods prescribed by the COMINFORM, but still maintains his personal beliefs.
[M] So, irl Nosaka broke with COMINFORM and had the JCP renounce violent revolution in 52 after he and the leadership were exiled due to the Korean War, without said exile I would say he would slowly begin a gradual shift from violent revolution to his peaceful revolution.
