With the First Five Year Plan under way, Chairman Mao Zedong of the Central Committee of the People's Republic of China has once again reached out to the Soviet Union in a request for assistance in the reaching of these goals. We request a small loan of a 300 million rubles and the services of more Soviet technicians and engineers. We hope, with this Five Year Plan,to quintuple our steel production (and considering developments in the last ten months this seems like an achievable goal!) and dramatically increase production of concrete, fertilizers, and other basic industrial goods necessary for the transition to socialism (which the USSR gracefully achieved two decades ago).

Let us both cooperate to ensure that the ideology of Marx and Lenin and the Great Stalin are cemented!
