For forty years the people of China have fought against the forces of reaction and fascism. Millions have died in the name of the betterment of the Chinese people. From the revolution against the oppressive and incompetent Qing to the insurrection against the early Kuomintang to the War of Resistance against Japan to the final battles against Chiang Kai-Shek's fascist state.

As of 11:11, Beijing time, on October 10th, 1951, the government of the Republic of China capitulated to the newly formed People's Liberation Army Navy Marine Corps. Nearly all of the Kuomintang officials have been accounted for, with them being called to Beijing at the soonest possible moment.

All soldiers and sailors who participated in the liberation of Taiwan, in addition to other distinguished divisions and regiments from throughout the war, will take part in a military parade in the capital. It is estimated that over a million citizens will be there to listen to the speeches and see the 300,000 soldiers, along with hundreds of tanks and trucks and other parade-like things, in Tiananmen Square. Both Chairman Mao and Premier Zhou Enlai will give proclamations, in addition to over a dozen other members of the Central Committee. There will be a great pyrotechnics display that evening, as well.

One would be hard pressed to overstate the significance of this turn of events. China, all of China (with the notable exceptions of the imperialists' concessions in Hong Kong and Macau), has finally been liberated from the fascists! Now we can finally begin our work for the true liberation of the population through our advancement and the development of socialism!
