With the KMT forces taking up defensive positions along the Yellow River and Great Wall, we may be put into a... tight spot. In order to not fall into a permanent stalemate, Chairman Mao has directed the majority of People's Liberation Army troops to the stretch of the Yellow River that the KMT is not stationed long. The land between the Yellow River and the Great Wall is still controlled by the CPC, and as such we will take advantage of this to assault their not-yet-entrenched positions along the southern side of the Great Wall. If we can take advantage of their preparatory state and push south, we can then use the terrain to our advantage. We will defend the hills in the east against the rest of the KMT's army, and then surround the hundreds of thousands of men in the west. The land there is not at all capable of supporting an army of that size, and if more than a month or so passes without supply, they will begin to starve. We will pocket and encircle these men, and, therefore, force them to either surrender or die.
In fact, we wouldn't be surprised if the KMT simply didn't attack us in the east due to the infighting between their officers.
