One thousand of Bolivia's finest soldiers--all suspect of political unreliability. All forced to conduct extensive Maoist self-criticism under the withering assault of Chinese advisors and their eager trainees. They run as fast as they can under the new Bolivian "calisthenics" training program. They can survive in the jungle, even though they don't like it, exiled there for humid days and terrifying nights while they learned to "embrace the fundamentals of the revolution". Trained by the People's Liberation Army's finest to serve as guerrillas, launching raiding attacks, conducting ambushes, and even direct bayonet charges.
Now, they're being given political commissars by the PRBI, and put on planes. Time to remove yet another risk from the country. A young Major Hugo Banzer commands one of the companies, eager to prove himself on the field of battle, even if, beneath his lengthy self-criticism conducted against his imperialist bourgeoisie tendencies, he remains... less than sympathetic to the revolution. Carrying Swiss-made AK47 battle rifles, some of which are scratched with kills from the late war with Paraguay, they are more than ready for the task ahead of them.
