I sent BTC from Coinbase to my ledger. On CB, I just clicked the regular āsendā and Input my ledger address etc. the Coinbase window popped up with an āestimated feeā and all was normal without any option to manually adjust the fee.
I see in Memepool now a yellow icon next to my transaction that says āFee Rate Overpaid 2xā
How do I avoid this? I know 2x overpay isnāt that much, but I have also read horror stories recently about people accidentally paying millions of dollar transactions fees.
If I was expecting my āestimated feeā to be 5$ and turns out to be 30$. I can live with that. But if Iām expecting my fee to be 5$ and then after I click āsendā it turns into 1 million. lol I canāt live with that.
Any tips or ideas?
