i was gifted a bag of beans by my friend from a roaster iāve had a few times, and once i got around to brewing it, they had announced last call and it was out of stock. that bag was so good and one of the most memorable iāve had i was so bummed i missed it.
i emailed the roaster just to say āthank youā and that i really enjoyed that bag. i told them to keep up the good work and iām looking forward to trying their other offerings and to hopefully see that coffee on their menu next year.
they emailed back and said they were really glad i enjoyed it and then gave me a few links to their website for other coffees with a similar profile.
5 days later i receive a box from them with one of the last bags of that coffee that went out of stock! they included a handwritten note that said they had only a few left in their store but they wanted to give it to me on the house because i liked it so much.
i did not send the email to get a free bag, but just to let them know that i really enjoyed their coffee. this experience hopefully made someoneās day at the roastery and out of their kindness, i now get to experience that delicious coffee again!
my intent with this post is to encourage you all to enjoy the coffee youāre drinking and to share the positivity with family, friends, and the people who make the delicious coffee available!
edit: clarity
I want to shop with this roaster... who are they?
