Hey all, just got a breville infuser as my first espresso machine and learning how to tamp right. I notice that after I tamp, my puck ends up being slanted towards the portafilter handle. Hereās an example:
A few questions:
I assume this is a problem and will impact the quality of the espresso by causing āchannelingā, right?
Assuming yes for #1, whatās the likely reason for the slant? Iād guess uneven pressure but Iāve tried rotating the portafilter around before tamping but it always seems to slant towards the handle
Any specific techniques/gadgets that can fix this?
Thanks
