What does everyone like to run as a coffee:water ratio for their preferred method? Looking at some of the instructions out there for the same method(Chemex) for example came across a range of 6-8%. For french press it ranges from 5.5-7.5%. It is going to range depending on lots of things but I am just curious on what other peoples thoughts are. This was always the big question that can be intimidating for those trying to get into the quality coffee game.
It also bugs me that many brewing instructions give coffee in grams and water in Oz, so remember that you must use the same mass units for each to get your proper ratio but it does not matter what units you are in.
