So let me preface by saying I’m essentially a complete novice with computer code. I’ve done a bit of editing of others’ code in a highly obscure language that basically exists solely for one fighting game I play. Other than that I did a GCSE computing degree half a decade ago and don’t really remember anything. Therefore, I generally don’t know what I’m doing.
I’m trying to create something which in my layman opinion should be relatively easy to code, but it probably isn’t knowing computer programming. I want to make a counter that increments by 1 every time a certain amount of time passes, for instance how a minute counter increases by 1 every 60 seconds. My question is, is this something someone like me, a complete novice, would be able to code themselves? Or should I just give up? Also, is there a specific program you’d recommend for creating the described time-based counter?
Thanks in advance. Also, I’m sorry if this post breaks the rules.
