Finding worth/value
Post Body

I depend a lot on others to determine my self worth (particularly men). Like many, Iā€™m incredibly insecure, and I am constantly comparing myself to other women who I consider prettier, smarter and have their lives in better order. This definitely has hindered any relationship prospect. I also tend to ā€œcreate a problemā€, or assume they donā€™t like me/arenā€™t interested from the get-go.

And truthfully, I always assume most people donā€™t like me before I can believe they do. I am so concerned with what people think of me, I put way to much concern into how I look, and I need validation from others to feel secure.

I know this is a lot! Just looking for support or similar experiences and how others have been able to conquer this aspect of codependency? Thank you!
